The Chucumaltik cenote (which means The Hidden Beauty) is located on the road to San Francisco Uninajab, 21 km from Comitán. It is approximately 200 m in diameter and 61 m deep. It is surrounded by lush vegetation.

This cenote maintains a temperature of between 23 and 24 degrees, making it perfect for swimming and diving, one of the most traditional activities in the area.

You can go swimming, and if you are more adventurous, thanks to the transparency of the water it is ideal for deep-sea diving, or snorkelling if you do not have enough knowledge to dive into the depths.
